It’s a great new for new mobile phone buyers for apple has cut down its prices for old iPhone models in India. As per sources apple had taken certain steps to provide choices to customers with multiple iPhone sizes and prices. Rivals like one plus, Xiaomi, Samsung etc. are gaining market over apple in India due to the pricing difference and corresponding features. Apple iPhone XR had made good business in 2019.The smartphone giant “Apple” a company based in Cupertino has cut down prices of iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. They were launched last year and were ruling the market. Various iPhone models in India are available at comparatively low prices. IPhone 11 series was officially launched on 20th September 2019 and will be available from 27th September 2019 in India in 64GB, 128 GB and 256GB models in different colours viz; purple, green yellow, black, white and red colours.

Newly launched iPhones

iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone Pro max are three new mobile phones available in market. iPhone 11 pro is available from 27th September 2019 at a price ₹99,900 MRP. iPhone Pro max is at a price ₹1,09,900.

The newly launched iPhone 11 is priced at ₹64,900 which is much lower than the Apple iPhone XR (64 GB) launched last year at a price of ₹76,900. This is indeed a cheery on the top for apple lovers. The same model iPhone XR (64 GB) is available at ₹49,900 and Apple iPhone XR (128 GB) at ₹54,900.
The original price of Apple iPhone XS (64 GB) was at ₹99,900 at the time of launch which has dropped down to ₹89,900 while the original price of Apple iPhone XS 256 GB was ₹1,14,900 it has dropped down to ₹1,03,900. Apple iPhone 7 (32 GB) which was launched at ₹52370 came down to ₹29,900 from ₹39,900. Apple iPhone 7 (128 GB) which was launched at ₹61,560 came down to ₹39,900 from ₹49,900.

India being a price and cost sensitive market, apple has to cautiously place its foot to catch hold of the market. Older iPhone models like the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 plus and iPhone 7 plus prices have been lowered considerably. It has also slashed the prices of older Apple watch series 3 which is offered in India at ₹20,900.

The step taken by the apple in lowering prices in India is to face the competition prevalent in the smartphone segment. India is such a place where customers are price and cost sensitive. Apple iPhone is ranked at third position per latest market data. Earlier it had also introduced 10% cashback programme on HDFC cards. Apple is trying to take advantage of the upcoming festive season in India.
